I was reading the current edition of the Charleston Regional Business Journal today, and I ran across an interesting tip for anyone interested in a fun print media / trade journal business opportunity.
John Barnhardt, a local indie filmmaker, was interviewed about the local filmmaking market for an article in the Journal. Barnhardt notes that the local film industry is ripe for a publication to help independent filmmakers market their projects to theaters and viewers. He says that to make it more feasible, the periodical could focus on independent film in the Carolinas as a whole.
