Are you a woman with a story about using the resources at the library to start your own small business? Send it to Woman’s Day by May 10th, and it might be one of four selected to appear the in magazine!
Tell your story in 700 words or less and email it to womansday@ala.org. Up to four stories will be highlighted in the March 2008 issue of Woman’s Day. The initiative is open to women over the age of 18. For more information and for the official rules, please visit http://www.womansday.com/ala.
The initiative is sponsored by the Charleston County Public Library, Woman’s Day and the American Library Association’s Campaign for America’s Libraries, a multi-year public awareness and advocacy campaign designed to promote the value of libraries and librarians in the 21st century.
Good luck!
