A few months ago, I posted a schedule of 2007 events hosted by various organizations. (See the original post from February.) Since it’s been a while, I thought I’d go ahead and post another reminder about one of the upcoming events, which is a seminar hosted by the Small Business Development Center on government contracting.
The event is called “Government Subcontracting 101.” It will be held at the SBDC’s location, 5900 Core Drive in North Charleston, on August 2, 2007 from 9 – 11:30 A.M. The half-day seminar is designed to cover many aspects of government subcontracting, including how to determine if your business is qualified to become a subcontractor, how to find your niche and keep up with your competitors, and of course it covers the basics of how to find appropriate contracting opportunities and how to write a successful proposal. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that a government contract is beyond your company’s reach. Find out what it takes and then make it happen! The cost for the seminar is $40. For more information, call the SBDC at (843) 740-6160, or visit their website http://www.uscbiz.net/.

I’m so stealing your BUSLIB post this for my personal blog.
